About This Retreat

Night sweats, instant rage, forgetting the names of people you've known for years … if this sounds familiar, welcome to the party. The Illuminate retreat was created for women navigating menopause (and her rebellious little sister, perimenopause), and all of the physical, mental and emotional changes that come at this stage of life. Through evidence-based education, sustainable physical movement and candid conversation, you will walk away from Illuminate with a broader view of midlife as an opportunity to live the truest and best version of yourself, rather than a list of symptoms to fear.

Facilitators

Elizabeth Chaney

Elizabeth Chaney

Elizabeth Chaney, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in orthopedic and sports medicine, bringing both clinical precision and a deep commitment to whole-body wellness. Having spent years working alongside orthopedic surgeons and running her own functional wellness practice, Elizabeth understands how the body changes with age — and what it actually takes to stay strong, mobile, and pain-free. At Illuminate, she'll explore the often-overlooked connection between midlife hormonal shifts and bone and joint health, offering practical, grounded strategies for protecting your body and feeling at home in it for years to come.
Dr. Jen Le Coguic

Dr. Jen Le Coguic

Dr. Jen Le Coguic is a pelvic health physical therapist with over 15 years of experience helping people navigate pelvic floor issues that often go unspoken- issues like bladder leaks, pelvic pain, constipation, pain with sexual activity, and the changes that come with childbirth, peri/menopause, or chronic stress. She's the founder of Nashville Pelvic Health, a Nashville-based physical and occupational therapy clinic focused exclusively on helping individuals with pelvic health concerns.
Kristen Repta

Kristen Repta

Kristen Repta is the founder of Peacock Health Collective in Chicago, where for more than 25 years she has helped women look, feel, and function at their best. She began her career in high-end aesthetics and skincare before becoming an advanced practice nurse, and today her practice centers on hormone and thyroid optimization, metabolic health, and regenerative aesthetics. Her focus on midlife hormone health became personal when unexpected weight gain, brain fog, and exhaustion led her to discover she was in perimenopause — an experience that reshaped how she approaches women's health and deepened her commitment to changing the way midlife women are cared for.
Melissa Chapman

Melissa Chapman

Melissa Chapman founded Chapman Wellness, where she helps women embrace aging well through simple rituals, restorative movement, and intentional self-care practices. Her work focuses on helping women reduce accumulated stress and tension through practices that reconnect the face and body, including posture awareness, restorative movement, face yoga, facial cupping, and simple wellness rituals that support how women look and feel. Melissa believes that aging well doesn’t require doing more. It starts with creating small moments of care that become lasting rituals, helping women feel more at ease in their body and supporting vitality, confidence, and overall well-being.
Samantha Raphael

Samantha Raphael

Samantha Raphael is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor (A-LPC/MHSP), National Certified Counselor, and certified yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching mindfulness-based movement and supporting whole-person wellness. Samantha specializes in working with women experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity shifts. She believes midlife is an opportunity to reconnect with what matters most, redefine purpose, and create a more authentic and fulfilling life, rather than a season to endure.
